SHAMPOO

I have a shih tzu with seborrhoea. I have tried many shampoos on her stinky greasy, flakey, hot spot skin. I tried oatmeal shampoo by imrex.  I tried tar and sulphur shampoo also by Imrex. But my vet said it may be too harsh for a dogs skin and recommended Douxo shampoo for seborrhoea and calm micro emulsion after wards. Well that shampoo seemed to irritate her skin and make it very red and she even bleed around the back of her neck area so I cut that one. And it was bloody expensive. , then I did some research on the net and other people were saying their vet recommended Selsun blue. This did seem to work fine and I stuck with it until she had a cut one day, so I washed it with a surgical scrub, then decided to just wash her whole body with surgical scrub called Betadine. That took her smell away and left her hair very clean for weeks. So I think I will be sticking with Betadine and  Selsun blue for a while, until I can find something more natural.
